Rockets, or racket-tailed parrots, or racket-tailed parrots (Latin Prioniturus) are a genus of birds of the parrot family.
Appearance
Parrots of the genus have a special distinctive feature - the central feathers of their tail are elongated in comparison with the rest of the feathers, and look like a long smooth stick with a "racket" that looks like a small spatula at the end (hence the name).

They live on the islands of Indonesia and the Philippines.

The beak is light bluish-horny in color with a whitish tip. The iris is dark brown. Legs are greenish gray. First described by Cassin in 1853.
