Wide-mouths (lat. Eurystomus ) Is a genus of birds of the Roller family (Coraciidae).

The main distribution area is Africa, Asia and Australia. On the territory of Russia, in Primorye and the southern Amur region, the eastern broad is found.

Some species live in warm temperate or subtropical regions of Eurasia and Australia. The broad-mouthed plumage is brightly colored, which is slightly brighter in males than in females. Large head and long wings. The long and strong beak is curved downward. Shirokorota feed on insects and look out for their prey from a high place, catch on the fly.During the mating season, males demonstrate acrobatic stunts in the air, accompanied by loud sounds.
