These carbohydrates are absorbed in our body for a long time, but nevertheless, we have energy for the whole day. Therefore, it is better to eat oatmeal for breakfast.

Recipe "Cold porridge in Swiss style" Bircher Muesli ":

Washing with oatmeal

If you want to always look good and restore your skin freshness and elasticity, try washing your face regularly with oatmeal. This procedure is suitable for cleaning all types of skin, but it is especially recommended for sensitive, flaky, oily and irritated skin. Thanks to her, the skin becomes smooth and soft, acquires a natural color and glow.

There are several ways to wash your face with oatmeal:

  1. Grind 1 cup of oatmeal in a coffee grinder (but not to a state of flour), add 1 tsp. baking soda, stir well. Store in glassware. For washing to 1 tbsp. l. add water, milk or kefir to the mixture until a gruel is formed, apply to the neck and face and wash with it in the usual way as with a foam for washing. When the mass begins to easily slide over the skin, rinse it off with warm water, then rinse your face with cool salted or acidified water.
  2. You can do it easier: 1 tbsp. l. Put small oatmeal flakes on your palm, moisten them with water and gently, gently rub them on a wet face, rubbing lightly into the skin and bypassing the area around the eyes, then rinse your face with cool water. Before washing your face with oatmeal in this way, put a mesh in the sink so as not to clog the drain.
  3. 1 tbsp. l.Put oatmeal crushed in a coffee grinder in a gauze bag or bundle, hold it in warm water for 5 minutes and use it as soap. In the evenings, it is useful to wipe the skin with a decoction of oatmeal. For its preparation 2 tbsp. l. Pour 1 liter of oatmeal. hot water, cook for 10 minutes, drain, let cool. Moisten a cotton pad in the broth and wipe your face with light circular motions. This treatment will cleanse and smooth the skin and prevent the appearance of wrinkles.

Do not forget that you can apply the mask on your face only after the skin is completely cleansed. The mask should be applied from the bottom up, along the massage lines, starting from the chin (or, if necessary, from the décolleté and neck area), and ending with the forehead. Keep in mind that the skin is most susceptible to various cosmetic procedures between 6 pm and 8 pm.

If your skin is oily, do homemade cosmetic masks every other day, if dry - 2 times a week. If the mask is made carefully and according to all the rules, then its effect lasts for 3-4 days. Any masks should be done in a course for 1 to 3 months, then give the skin "rest" for a month and you can start a course of a new mask. If hard hair is actively growing on the face or blood vessels are dilated, masks should not be done.

For all skin types

Boil the oatmeal for 30 minutes, remove 2 tbsp. l. foam from the top layer of mucous broth, let it cool, add 1 tbsp. l. low-fat cottage cheese and 1 tsp. any vegetable oil. Apply the composition to the face, neck and décolleté. After 15-20 minutes, wash off with warm water. The mask makes the skin soft and matte.

For normal to dry skin

  1. Mix 1 tbsp. l. oatmeal crushed in a coffee grinder with 1 tsp. sour cream and the same amount of pounded egg yolk. Apply the mixture on the face for 20 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water. This mask nourishes the skin.
  2. Mix 1 tbsp. l. chopped oatmeal and kefir. Let the mass brew for 20 minutes, then add 1 tbsp. l. thoroughly mashed banana, mix and apply it on the décolleté, neck and face for 15-20 minutes. Wash off the mask with warm water. The mask nourishes and refreshes the skin.
  3. Mix 1 tbsp. l. oat flour with the same amount of fresh cucumber grated on a fine grater, add 1 tsp. olive oil and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply the mask to face, neck and décolleté. After 20 minutes, wash off with warm water. The mask helps to cleanse and moisturize the skin.

For dry skin

  1. 1 tbsp. l. small oatmeal pour 2-3 tbsp. l. boiling milk, let it brew for 10-15 minutes, add 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil. Apply the gruel to the neck and face, after 15 minutes, rinse with warm water. The procedure should be performed 2 times a week, always using a fresh composition.
  2. 1 tbsp. l. freshly squeezed grape juice mixed with 1 tsp. sour cream and the same amount of vegetable oil. Add enough oatmeal to make a thick mass. Stir it thoroughly and apply on neck and face. After 15 minutes, wash off with mildly brewed tea. It is recommended to carry out this procedure 1-2 times a week for a month.
  3. Mix in 2 tbsp. l. oatmeal crushed in a coffee grinder and mashed tomato pulp without skin and seeds, add 0.5 tsp. vegetable oil. Apply the resulting gruel to the neck and face and leave for 20 minutes. Remove the mask with cotton pads and wipe the skin with cold milk. The mask nourishes, moisturizes and tones dry, sensitive and aging skin.
  4. Mix 2 tbsp. l. oat flour with 1 tbsp. l. infusion of linden flowers (1 tbsp. l. dry flowers pour 0.5 tbsp. boiling water, let cool, strain) or strong tea, add 0.5 tbsp. l. peach, apricot or any vegetable oil. Dilute too thick mixture with lime infusion (tea). Apply the resulting mass to the face, after 15 minutes, rinse with warm water. The mask is recommended for dry, chapped, flaky skin.

For oily skin

  1. 1 tbsp. l.calendula flowers (or dried mint leaves) pour 0.5 tbsp. boiling water, cover the dishes with infusion, leave for 15 minutes, strain and mix with oatmeal until a thick gruel is obtained. Apply it on your face and wash off after 15-20 minutes, first with warm and then cool water, acidified with a small amount of apple cider vinegar. This mask has a cleansing, refreshing, toning and mattifying effect.
  2. 1 tbsp. l. dilute oat flour with sauerkraut brine until a thick gruel is obtained and apply the mask to the cleansed face. After 20 minutes, rinse off the mask with cool water. If you do this mask every week, oily and acne prone skin will become soft and elastic, and your face will freshen up.
  3. Peel one small potato, grate it on a fine grater and squeeze the juice through cheesecloth. Add oat flour and 0.5 tsp to the potato juice. lemon juice, stir until a thin kashchitsy is formed. Apply the mask to the face, rinse off with cool water after 15 minutes.
  4. 1 tbsp. l. Thoroughly grind oat flour with kefir or natural yogurt until the consistency of a thick gruel. Apply it on your face for 15 minutes, then remove with a cotton pad soaked in cold water. Instead of kefir or yogurt, you can use juice from any sour berries or fruits. The mask gently cleanses oily skin and, by removing excess shine, makes it more matte.

For problem skin

Problem skin of the face is characterized by the presence of enlarged pores, acne, redness, such skin often flakes and has an unhealthy color.

  1. 3 tsp of ground oatmeal mix with 1 well-beaten egg white, add 0.5 tsp. lemon juice. If the mixture is too thick, dilute it with a little cold boiled water. Apply the mask to the face with light massaging movements, after 15 minutes soften it with a warm compress, carefully remove and rinse your face with cool water. This mask has a cleansing, drying and anti-inflammatory effect. For oily skin with large pores, this mask will give smoothness and freshness.
  2. Peel 2-3 medium-sized dark plums from the skin and seeds, mash them in mashed potatoes and mix with oatmeal until they become thick porridge. Lightly steam the face and apply the mask in a thick layer on the face, rubbing for 2-3 minutes in a circular motion. Then leave the mask for another 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. The mask is recommended to be done 1-2 times a week, the course is 10 procedures. The mask nourishes, soothes irritated skin, cleanses it of blackheads (comedones).
  3. 2 tbsp. l. mix oat flour with 2 tsp. honey, dilute with slightly warmed natural apple cider vinegar to a thick gruel. Apply it to cleansed face, leave for 20 minutes, rinse with warm water. The mask reduces the oiliness of the skin, makes it dull, helps prevent and treat acne.

Anti-aging masks

  1. 1 tbsp. l. Pour small oatmeal flakes with freshly brewed black tea so that it completely covers them, cover, let it swell for 15 minutes. Add 1 tsp to the resulting gruel. honey and lemon or orange juice, stir and apply on face. After 15 minutes, wash your face with warm, then cool water. This mask tones and cleanses aging skin, leaving it smoother and more elastic.
  2. Mix 1 tbsp. l. oatmeal and mashed potatoes crushed in a coffee grinder and diluted with kefir until a not very thick gruel is obtained. Apply it on your face and after 15-20 minutes wash off first with warm and then cold water. The mask rejuvenates the skin of the face, smoothes wrinkles.
  3. 1 tbsp. l. small oatmeal, pour a small amount of boiling water, cover the dishes with a lid and let it brew for 10-15 minutes. Add 1 raw egg yolk to lukewarm porridge and 1 tbsp. l. chopped avocado pulp and unfiltered beer. Apply the thoroughly mixed mass to the face, neck and décolleté. After 15 minutes, wash your face first with warm, then cool water. Instead of avocado, you can use the pulp of persimmon, melon or apricot. The mask is recommended for aging and dry skin.

Oatmeal scrubs

For normal to dry skin

Mix 1 tbsp. l.oatmeal and grated pumpkin pulp, add 1 tsp. vegetable oil. Apply the composition on the face and peel for 1 minute, then hold the mask for another 5-10 minutes, then wash with cool water.

For normal to oily skin

1 tbsp. l. Mix oatmeal crushed in a coffee grinder with 1 tsp. granulated sugar, with the same amount of juice from aloe leaves and lemon juice. Dilute the mixture with a small amount of mineral water, apply on the face and massage it for 1-2 minutes, then leave on the face for another 5 minutes. Wash off with cool water.

For oily and combination skin

Mix in 0.5 tbsp. l. oatmeal and potato starch (or oatmeal), dilute the ingredients with boiled water at room temperature until a slurry is obtained, add a few drops of lemon juice to it. Stir and gently massage the face with the resulting composition for 1-2 minutes, then leave the mask for another 5 minutes. Wash off the mask with cool water.

Oatmeal for hand care

The skin of the hands will become softer and more tender if you make baths of 10-15 minutes from a warm broth of oatmeal twice a week. A mask prepared according to the following recipe will help soften the skin of the hands that have become hardened with cracks: mix 2 tbsp. l. oat flour and warm milk, add a few drops of fish oil, rub the mixture into the skin of the hands, after 20 minutes rinse the mask off with warm water. For the care of aging and wrinkled hands, mix 1 tbsp. l. oat flour and honey. Rub the mixture into your hands overnight and wear cotton gloves. In the morning, wash off the mask with warm water. Oatmeal is also used for nail care, for this 1 tbsp. l. pour oatmeal 1 tbsp. hot water, cook for 20 minutes, strain the broth and add 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil, mix. Dip your hands into the broth for 10-15 minutes. Do not rinse or dry your hands.
